Can anyone tell me when Capt. E. J. Hall enlisted in the service. He was in the 1st. La. Cav. but I would like to know the date of his enlistment. He was captured near Natchez, Mississippi De. 10th, 1863. I would like to know if he served with any other unit before 1863.
