I'm not sure what your marker looks like, but if it's anything like the state markers that are made out of aluminum or any kind of brass or bronze, you can be pretty sure it's made it's way to a scrap metal dealer by now. We recovered one like that a few years ago, but we were lucky. Usually they dispose of them pretty quickly.
