Much Thanks Dr. Jones. I did see the notation in the Bowie list as you noted so I feel pretty comfortable that that is what happened in that other members of the La. Brigade were also buried south of the Dunker Church. Did you read about the men returning to the field? Ring does not mention in his diary or letter home of 9-22-62.
