How do you get a Civil War marker placed in a Cemetery? I have found out where my GG Grandfather Nathaniel Strong is buried. He was in the LA 4th Cavalry. I knew he was in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Shongaloo La. because that is stated on his wife's application for a pension. A very old family member told me that he was buried by one of his daughters that never married. I located her grave so now I know where his is. Who places the markers, how do I go about making it happen?
