Yes, his widow applied for a Confederate Widow's Pension.

Were you aware that he was married twice? His second wife, Sicily, outlived him and applied for the pension.

During the 1870s his first wife, Elizabeth, apparently died and then he married Sicily. The 1870 census of Natchitoches Parish shows him married to Elizabeth, and the 1880 census of Natchitoches Parish shows him married to Sicily.
