Looking for info on company I. I believe my GG-Grandpa William ( Capt Bill ) Smith was Captain of this Company. He lived in Jackson and died there around 1921 and is burried in the Snowden Cemetery just outside of Jackson. He was born about 1841 and married Jane Robinson. They had 1 son named William R Smith. I know he is no relation to Bad Tom Smiths family as he was shot by bad Tom during a card game at my GG-Grandpa Williams house about 1890 as related by my G-Grandpa william R Smith. Any help on my William Smith's service record would be appreciated.
Thanks
