This man appears on record with Co "C", Butler's 1st Kentucky Cavalry. Since there were two 1st Kentucky Cavalry Regiments, it's important to note the name. The show shows that he enrolled at Owenton KY on Sept 2, 1862. Rolls do not show him to have been wounded or captured through the end of 1864. The last roll goes through Dec 31, 1864, and reports him absent without leave.
