Hawes [Commissary] at Chattanooga, Tenn. and for 10 bushels of corn February 1, 1863 at Fayettville, Tenn., having voluntarily surrendered at Atlanta, Ga., May 6, 1865, subscribed and swore allegiance to the United States at Nashville, Tenn. May 20, resident of Wooodford County, Ky., fair complexion, light hair, blue eyes, 6' height, no other records
