Rosser and the Sans Bois Bridge

Dr. Grant Foreman wrote in 1934 "Judge Malcolm E. Rosser of Muskogee, said (~1931) that during the Civil War after the passage of a contingent of Confederate troops, his father was directed to remain behind and burn the bridge (Sans Bois Iron Bridge), which he did." Chron. of OK, V. 12, No. 1 (Dr. Grant Foreman). {A Malcolm E. Rosser IV is now a successful lawyer in Tulsa.}

Does anybody know who by full name, rank and to what Confederate unit Mr. Rosser belonged??
