I have spoken to Georgia Higley at the Library of Congress, the woman in charge of the newspapers. I told her that there are several versions of the National Tribune on microfilm but only one - shelf number 1015 - has the complete run for 1904-1906. All the others are missing a full year. And I pointed out, it is that version that contains the series I want to copy - Wagon Boss and Mule Mechanic.

She has ordered a new copy of Shelf Number 1015. She says it will be a few months before she gets the film. She hopes the copy will contain the missing year.

For your information one of the two moderators wishes to publish the series as a book but needs part of the missing year.
