I recently came into possession of a Birthday Book maintained by my G-grandmother, Nellie Blanch (nee Morgan) Hill, of Choctaw decent. On the back of the last printed page of the book she wrote, “Robert L Cochran my grandfathers name. my mother had only one own sister her name was Lizzie Cochran Seaton her husband was a Dr Seaton. My grand mother was a full blood Choctaw Indian.” Nellie Blanch (nee Morgan) Hill's mother was Emma (nee Cochran) Morgan and was born on 14 August 1852. Emma could easily be a nickname for Emily or Emilia. I am assuming that Emma is indeed a child of Robert L. Cochran. Does anyone have a lead as to who her mother could have been?
