I am looking for more definitive information on my civil war ancestor John Roney. I understand he was recruited from Henry County, AL into a Georgia Unit, the 35th Ga. Infantry, which may have a home guard unit. If anyone can provide more detailed information on this soldier and this unit, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
