Hi. Fred A. Roney is my dad. And we know our John Roney survived the war between the states and lived until dec of 1912. We found a photo of John attending a family reunion in Neville al in his later years. John's brother Albert served in the CSA also and survived. Also found a pen and ink of John and his wife.Missouri Wells Roney.
