I'll be there bright and early Saturday. First large scale reenactment. On most of my trips to Chattanooga I walk the ground and just visualize the men as they face the charge across open fields, the steep climbs on Snodgrass Hill, and facing Chattanooga, as an army of blue stand ready to attack Missionary Ridge.. Tomorrow I'll see men and boys actually making that charge and know it will add to my understanding of how it felt and sounded...cannons, musketry, pounding of hooves, and the rebel yell and the huzza's of the boys from up north.
