I do not find a T. P. Muse in the 56th listed on the role within the Compiled Service Records (CSRs) of the 56th Georgia. It is evident why, as muster rolls from the period when he enlisted did not survive to be incorporated in the CSRs.

In fact, there are no surviving muster rolls for Company H at all. This was recorded in a War Department note to the Georgia Pension Commissioners in 1915 regarding A. W. Muse. All personal data in the CSRs was developed from other sources, such as receipts for clothing, pay vouchers, Federal POW records, etc.
