I assume you are back home in KY? Sure hope so.

If indeed Jacob Platt got the contract from the Augusta Depot to make them I am sure he had to hire people to sew them above whatever his staffing was at the time with the Platt Brothers business. That would be, I think, where any variances would come from.

These flags were harder to make that the square Richmond and Charleston Depot flags were so that would account for them as well.
