The Civil War Flags Message Board

Re: Writings of "Ben Ford" on guns

Phillip,

I guess you do not completely read everyone's posts here. I have not stated that the flag wasn't of the period.

What we all want you to put up are these very simple things that do not require who once owned it or how much it sold for as follows:

1) Absolute irrefutable proof that this flag belonged to Rucker.

2) Absolute irrefutable proof that this flag was ever used by his escort company.

3) Absolute irrefutable proof that this flag was the one taken at the barricades by the 12th Tennessee Cavalry US in December 1864.

4) Absolute irrefutable proof that the flag that was taken at the barricades was NOT the flag of the 12th Tennessee Cavalry CSA. This is important as we all know the Yankees would not have known a brigade flag if it bit them in the butt based on a number of misidentified such flags taken by them during the war.

Until you can do this to the letter of the demands above please stop wasting our time. We await the results of your research into these points above. No further obfuscation is allowed - answer each point plainly and by point.
