I believe that Coker was indeed the "another" who
recovered the flag at Chickamauga.
I have found no evidence that indicates who the
cowardly Colorbearer who dropped them might
have been.
A detailed casualty list for the 50th Ala. appears
in the Memphis Daily Appeal of Oct. 8, 1863.
