I have the distinct honor of giving a CS flags program at the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond, VA as part of a fund raising event for their flags collection. My program will be, "From Secession To War - The Confederate Flags of 1861." This has a detailed power point to go along with the program loaded with all sorts of CS flags from this time frame. I will be taking on CS flag mythology and correcting this mythology as the program goes along. This program is entirely factually based on my near 23 years of serious CS flags research.

The date of the program is Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 and it begins at 6:30 PM. Again, this is a fundraising event for their flags collection and I know they would appreciate your full support if you love these flags. Included with the event is a tour of their flags collection with a focus on the flags pertaining to the program. An image is one thing; seeing the actual flag is another!
