Hi.
Sent out feelers to some local museums where the unit was formed (Kenosha, Wis) hoping they might know a bit more, but with no results. The Kenosha Museum has the flag of Co I (from the City of Kenosha) but not on Co H (from the County of Kenosha).
As noted do have a person's observation of the flag (recent) but no real information on what it looked like as it relates to the star pattern.
If it seems like the reader has come in, in the middle of a conversation, Tom and I discussed this a while back. Been trying to find the possible pattern for the stars since then.
Thought I would try here and perhaps might have information from a reader of this forum.
May have to go with a 'standard' pattern, but with the reduced number of stars.
