Sadly, this flag's recovery seems to be getting more attention
in Virginia than in New Orleans.
Of the local TV only ABC and Fox affilates bothered to mention it.
The local Picayune "rag" gave it four brief paragraphs on page 4 of
the B section.
By far the ABC Tv did the best job; a full 2 minutes at Memorial Hall.
I too am puzzled as to how a collector can pay such big dollar amounts
and know so little about what they are purchasing.
No doubt, some just don't know any better. But others know full well
what they are buying and just do not care; Just so long as they can possess
it all for themselves!
