The edition of the Lynchburg Daily Republican that contained this article was in the original copy of the newspaper housed at the Small Special Collections Library, University of Virginia. There was no means available to me at the time to make a copy of it. I know that researchers with digital cameras are allowed to take pictures of material that cannot be photocopied or scanned. My suggestion is that you contact the Small Library through its online web site and ask if they could reproduce the article for you. The site also has a list of researchers who might be hired to make the copy.
