I was the one who wrote the essay for the Second Bunting flag for Julia's. The flag was probably taken either at Monterrey Pass, where the 6th VA Cavalry fought) or possibly from one of Ewell's wagons as a number from his train were captured.

The Union cavalry reported 11 flags taken and I have accounted for all 11 in the essay (one or two still not ID'd) including this flag that Julia's had. I postulated that it might be the flag of the 6th VA Cavalry and offered a couple other possibilities as well. If it was the 6th VA Cav's flag it could only have come from Monterrey Pass.
