New to posting here, but a long time reader and flag enthusiast.

2 questions:

OK back in April I witnessed the 150th reenactment of Battle of Big Bethel
at Endview NN. The NC troopers carried thier period NC State flag.

All I can say with certainty is Bethel happened on June 10, and NC officially adopted their state flag on June 22nd, so IMHO something isn't right.

I have read a previous thread here that doesn't list 1st NC as part of AoP under Magruder, but I was sure they had a Magruder Battleflag. What CS Flags were at Big Bethel?

Same request for Ft Huger in IoW County on the James River. The nice folks have restored Ft Huger and made a real nice venue for history there, but they insist on the CS 7 star 1st National. Was Ft Huger defenders flying a Magruder as part of the defensive lines under Magruder, or the 7 star which didn't represent Virginia?
