Per the description provided, there is a book (name escapes me now) in which they note during the early part of the war that in Louisiana, a French Tri-color that was modified by the addition of stars in the upper right corner. This to make a 'modified' first national I guess. Just my 3.76 cents (inflation and government taxes have raised one's two cents of input)
