In the book "The Flags of Civil War Arkansas" by Glenn Dedmont published by Pelican Publishing, Gretna, La., there is a picture and drawing of the flag, It is inscribed "presented to the Phillips Guards by the Young Ladies of Helena, Feb 22, 1861. According to the book , the Phillips Guard became Co G, 15th ( Josey's ) regiment Arkansas Infantry.
