Hello All
Could this flag be a Georgia State Flag, beloning to the Zachry Rangers H Coy 27th Georgia Infantry. The flag was sent during the war back from Virginia to Georgia were it was kept at the Zachry plantation until Union forces stole it during the ransacking of the plantation. Later the 4th Michigan Cavalry reported capturing the flag whilst raiding the Macon railroad.
