Captured flag

The recovery of a captured Union flag is described in Trudeau's book "Southern Storm". It is sketchy information at best, but may be of interest. The event happened on Nov 18, 1864 near Conyers, GA. as follows:
"When he arrived here yesterday, Major James A Connolly(on Brig Gen Absalom Baird's staff), learned from slaves of a nearby plantation owner named Mr Zachry, whose son, in the Confederate service, had sent his father a captured US flag."
The story goes on to say that the plantation was searched and no flag found, but after threatening the plantation owner he produced the flag.
A search of CWSS shows 24 Zachry's in GA units.
