I believe the 34th Ohio also lost flags in that area of operation. I might be wrong but I do know a Ohio Infantry Regiment was captured. The 5th and 6th WVA Cav, I believe were captured at Fort Kelly.

I will have to wait till I get back and give you the full information on this subject.

MG. Loring captured several colors, during his WVA Campaign. Several garrison flags as well.

It would be great if we could locate all colors captured from both sides, per state.

Other then finding another captured color from BG. Hay's dusk attack at Gettysburg, been very slow. They are out there, somewhere!
