I have a Spencer carbine that belonged to my father. As to how he obtained it, I do not know, but I remember that maybe once a year he would get it out and we could hold it. That would be 70 plus years!
Serial number 30419 - I am not being successful in finding out more about the carbine. Any help here would be deeply appreciated.
And I would love to shoot it - but I think that a lesser load would be wise at first. Since it is rimfire, is there any way to secure cartridges that I could use after a careful cleaning of the weapon and a location where it would be safe to fire it?
Thank you for any possible assistance you can give.
Sincerely,
David Somers
