44 caliber brass bullet mold

A number of years ago I found a single cavity 44 caliber brass round ball mold, it is about 3.75 inches long. I found it at Camp Nelson, Arkansas. It would have been from a Texas or Arkansas soldier, but probably from a Texan. It has a number stamped on it, the number is 66 or 99, depending on which way you look at it. My question is what does the number stand for, is it a makers stamp, armory stamp or depot stamp and are there any other brass bullet molds out there stamped with the number 66 or 99. Maybe some armory in Texas or elsewhere used that number to mark their brass castings. Any ideas?
