Many thanks for your posting on K,K&G. I am writing an article on a K,K&G bowie knife carried by a confederate soldier in Missouri while fighting with The 1st NE MO Calvary CSA in 1862. His name and outfit are crudely engraved on the brass hilt. A number of collectors believe that there are about 20 still remaining of an unknown number produced. I personally have seen pictures of 6. The I really appreciate the information in the city directories. A picture of one of these bowie's may be found on the Arizona Swords website, under sold items, Kraft, Goldschmidt, Kraft Bowie. The Relic Room at the Historical Society apparently has one also. Again many thanks
