Frederick, thanks for all the information. I have looked up the omnibus, and it is fairly clear that this was just that, a bus. Like you said it carried multiple passengers, but the size and general build of it was surely similar to an ambulance, and I would think it could have easily been converted to an ambulance. As far as carriage and buggy makers, I am sure any of them could have built ambulances, which leads me to believe there were most likely as many different types and sizes as there were people building them. What I have to work with is an old spring buggy, which as of now is to short to be an ambulance. It is not problem to extend it, so I think since there were probably so many different looking vehicles used as ambulances, I am going to build mine to look as much like some of the pictures I have seen as possible. Changing the US to CS may not be has hard as I am trying to make it. Thanks again for all your help.
