"If your relative was in the Eighteenth Georgia Regiment, they're not mentioned in the book." They were. Wofford's Brigade after Fredericksburg. Early in the war they were in Hood's Texas Brigade, which Wofford commanded at Antietam. They were in the Cornfield there, behind the Stone Wall at Frdericksburg, and in the Wheatfield at Gettysburg on the second day. Early in the war they distinguished themselves at Gaines Mill. My GGF died at Seven Pines. Great Uncle Frank was wounded at Spotsylvania, capured in Georgia while on recuperative furlough, and spent a year at Camp Douglas. Great Uncle Alex was captured at Cedar Creek and finished the war at Point Lookout. They were both paroled in June 1865. Thanks for checking your index. Stan
