Camp Hindman

I have an ancestor, James F Crain, who enlisted in the Confederacy June 20, 1862 at Camp Hindman. He was in Co A, 33 Arkansas Infantry. He lived in Magnolia, Columbia County. In his Civil War papers, it is noted that his travel time was 30 miles from Magnolia to Camp Hindman. In looking at a present day map from Magnolia to Camden, it is 37 miles from Magnolia to Camden. I had wondered if Camp Hindman was the same as Fort Hindman? But apparently they are two different camp/forts. I can find a lot of info on Fort Hindman, but not much on Camp Hindman. By April 1863, Crain was in the Monticello Hospital by authority of Acting surgeon Bragg.

Any input would be appreciated.
