I'm trying to unlock a small mystery in this unit.

Company G:
Elisha High age 43.
George W. High age 16 (son of Elisha)
Company I:
Oliver High age 22 (brother of Elisha), transferred to Company G.
George W. High age 16---deserted Dec 1862.

It is my opinion that the George W. High in Company I is the same man as the George W. High in Company G.

The Census records for Arkansas 1850-1900 list no other George High than the one born in Benton Co., Arkansas in 1845 and living in Carroll County in 1850 and 1860.
Could you look at the CSR's for these men and give me your opinion?

Note: Elisha and Oliver are the brothers of John High, Company D, 16th Arkansas Infantry
