April 9, 1862, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 19th, and 24th Regiments Arkansas Infantry and the 3rd Regiment Confederate Regiment Arkansas Infantry were consolidated and formed the 1st Consolidated Regiment Arkansas Infantry, which was paroled at Greensboro, N. C.
