Johnson for the war having traveled 351 miles to rendezvous, detailed on Ordnance duty July 20 1861, absent on extra duty August 31, 1861, no further records

* This company subsequently became Company A, (Marmaduke’s) 18th Regiment Arkansas Infantry. January 31, 1862, the designation was changed to 3rd Regiment Confederate Infantry

About April 9, 1862, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 19th, and 24th Regiments Arkansas Infantry and the 3rd Regiment Confederate Regiment Arkansas Infantry were consolidated and formed the 1st Consolidated Regiment Arkansas Infantry, which was paroled at Greensboro, N. C.
