There was a William age 43 and his son William age 10 in the 1860 Prairie Co Ark census. Does the stone have a date? If so does one of these match up? I do not find any other possibility for units except a William McBee enlisted in Comp E 10 th Ark Inf Inf in early 1862. This unit was from Conway Co. The other William was from Marion Comand appears to have enlisted in 27thArk Inf in 1862. No William shows back up in any 11th Ark command after their release from prison.
