Dear Teresa and Virgil;

Yes. I think it is going to be the Chunky River Bridge.

I got interested in it when the name Vicksburg was mentioned Igot interested,
If he is buried around vicksburg I am interested.

In my much under days i worked for the Rail Road.
He Joined upat Vernoia which is in the North Eastern Part of the state near Tupelo.
It is on the M & 0 RailRoad.
It would appear they took the M & O to Meridian and the the Southern Rail Road from Meridian to Vicksburg.
Chunky River, about 20 - 30 miles westward from Meridan went out,
Horrible accident.
Many, Many, Many killed (Drowned.)
I think they are buried in a Mass Grave at the site.

Teresa, you can read about it at;
Csa-ConfederateRailroads.com
There are 200 -300 or so documents and you will have to sort it out.
Check the dates on the Right Hand side.
That thing occurred about February 18 - February 20th, 1863.

I skanned the Documents but did not see his name. which Iwojuld not thinlk meant anything.

Look it over and let me know.
