Hello, I am researching my g g Grandpaw, William A. Altorn/Altom, he was in the Falcon Guards, he enlisted in 1861 @Benton Arkansas and he was captured at island 10, the eight of April 1862 and I would copy of any records you may have. His enlistment or his prison and if you are of his brother Elihu Altorn/Altum, he enlisted 18 of July 1861 @Benton Arkansas and he was in the Falcon Guards also and he was captured at island 10 MO. they were sent to camp Douglas IL. Elihu died in camp Douglas the 31 of July 1862. His wife Julia A. (Roach)Altum, claim filed the 4 Jan. 1865. I would like to copy of anything you may have on any of this, it is for my anstery and my personal use. I would appreciate any help you can give me on this. Jerry Alton/Altom
