I'm sorry to have to report on the death of Geraldine "Jeri" Helms Fultz on August 2. Her first cousin Tom Helms just called to inform me of her passing. Many of you will remember Jeri as the lady who put the raw research done by Ed Gerdes and myself into HTML and posted it on the Original Arkansas Civil War Homepage (neither of us were smart enough to figure out how to do that). I lost touch with Jeri a couple of years ago. Tom informed me that she had entered an assisted-living facility in the suburbs of St. Louis about then, and passed away there on August 2. Jeri was a serious researcher in her own right, and left voluminous files, which Tom, at her request, is going to go through, organize, and freely share with her fellow researchers. With Ed and Jeri gone, that leaves me as the last member of the "Arkansas Civil War Triumvirate." R.I.P. Jeri.
