Thanks a million Jim. This part doesn't contain my reference, but I am sure it will make Mr. Robert Jackson on the Flags board very happy. I don't think I ran accross the diary on the Authentic Campaigner website. I think I lifted the reference from some source material on the Tullahoma Campaign, but I haven't run back accross it yet. My thought is that the flag wan't lost on the field but may have been in the camps that were over run after Lindell's brigde was pushed out of the Gap. Fustrated with myself for not including a cite.
