The order of battle for St. John Lidell's Brigade at Liberty Gap is as follows:

This is looking north towards the Federal advance posted in the hills on both sides of the Liberty Pike from initial contact through the final fight at the south end of the gap (the bowl portion):

5th Arkansas (on the left side of the pike)
13th/15th Arkansas (on the right side of the pike)
squadron of the 1st/3rd Kentucky Cavalry (on the right side of the pike)

By the way, the log cabin used by Col. Featherston of the 5th Arkansas in the gap as his HQ has been restored to its original look.

Reinforcements - Swett's Battery (right side of the pike)

Final dispositions of Liddell's Brigade in the bowl at the gap's southern end:

Left to right:

8th Arkansas (2 miles west guarding Railroad or Bellbuckle Gap) - not engaged
5th Arkansas
13th/15th Arkansas

The two regiments above were on the left side of the pike in the hills.

Swett's Battery
6th/7th Arkansas
2nd Arkansas

The units above were posted on the hills to the right of the pike.

Wood's/Lowery's Brigade came up in support but by this time Richard Johnson's Federal Division was driving Liddell pretty hard.

St. John Liddell's book has a fine account of the fight here as does a small and hard to find book focused only on Liberty Gap.
