Do you have copies of her pension and Confederate home applications?

If so, what do you find in them which would give the authorities confidence of his service to grant them?

I do not find evidence that either W.B. Barbee or W. E. Weld served in the Confederate army.

I assume she was granted a Widow’s pension?
