Re: Cousin KIA Pea Ridge
In Response To: Re: Cousin KIA Pea Ridge ()

Thanks a lot to all of you who responded to my question about my CSA cousin Wm Pulaski Chamberlain, Jr. Family story is that he was killed at Pea Ridge, but never had any proof. He sure could be the William M killed at Prairie Grove. I also saw a reference online saying he was in Co H of the 23rd Ark Inf. Was the 23rd at Pea Ridge & is there any info on its casualties? Also, are the combined service records posted online anywhere? Finally, I recently found the grave of a GGG uncle who as in CO A, 9th Ark Inf...died of disease in a Nashville hospital following the retreat from Bowling Green, Ky. I got a photo of his CSA marker in the Confederate Circle, Mt. Olivet Cem in Nashville. Is any one in Ark collecting these photos?
Thanks again for all your help.
