Thanks for the update. Interesting.
I guess the reason Gen. Nelson did not get shoved out after the war was that he had paid for his lot.
It is believed that my ancestor, Fielding Price, who died in the Yankee Prison was buried there when he died of smallpox
on Feb. 1, 1865 after being captured in eastern Arkansas. It is also believed he was one of the thousands of Union
and CSA dead moved after the war.
