I am on the hunt for an Ashley H. Houston, 1824-1898 and supposedly served in the Battle of Pea Ridge. I have no idea what CSA regiment. He was married to a Nancy Ross, cherokee tribe. I have confirmed this through the indian records, however family records indicate he served in the CSA. Was born in Mississippi, checked with that and found one in the 2nd Miss Infantry, but that cant be him as he was killed during pickets charge.
