I am trying to find the death date and burial place of Dr. William J.D. Alexander. He was major of McCord's Frontier Regiment, Texas Cavalry. Following the war, he moved to Arkansas and was residing in Lonoke County in 1910 when the census was taken. He also attended the 1911 Confederate Veterans Reunion in Arkansas. No later record of him has been found. He apparently died before 1920.
