Company A: My Company marched from Delhi, La., to Tensas river, where a portion of the command were engaged as skirmishers with the enemy. We then marched from Tensas to Little Rock, where we are now encamped.
Company B: My Company marched from Delhi, La., to Little Rock, Ark., leaving Delhi 4th Aug. Arrived at Little Rock 22d Aug. 1863, besides a great deal of marching in the Mississippi Swamps in the month of July.
Company C: My Company marched from Tensas river, La., to Delhi about July 1st. From which place we marched to Camp Taylor on Boeuf river. Then on 4th August began our march to Little Rock, where we arrived on 22d August.
Company D: July 1 stationed at Delhi, La. Left Delhi 6th on Scout. Returned 7th to Delhi. Left on cars for Girard Station 22d. Got to Camp Snyder same day. Left Camp Snyder on Boeuf river August 4th. Came to Little Rock August 22d. Left the Rock on the 23d and camped at Camp Texas. 23d left Camp Texas and went to Little Rock. There we remained until August 31st. Making the distance marched from July 6th to August 25th of about 213 miles.
Company E: My Company marched from Delhi, La., on the 15th day of June for Tensas river, where we engaged a portion of the enemies force as skirmishers with but little loss. Command marched immediately back. Then to Little Rock, where we arrived on 22d Aug.
Company F: My Company marched from Delhi, La., to Little Rock, Arks, leaving Delhi 4th August. Arrived at Little Rock 22d August 1863. Besides a great deal of marching in the Mississippi Swamps in the month of July '63.
Company G: My Company marched from Tensas River about 1st July to Delhi, La. On 22d marched to Camp Taylor, La. Then on 4th Aug. began our march to Little Rock, Ark., where we arrived on 22d Aug.

There are no "Remarks" on the 27th Arkansas company muster rolls, but the Field and Staff muster roll bears this notation: May 17th, 1863, command ordered to Camden. Left Camden, June 2d, 1863, for Monroe. From Monroe was ordered to Delhi, La. Remained there as a reinforcement to Genl. Walker Com’d until July 15th.
